Pianos, recordings and dancing, oh my!

Hi All,

I’m just sending around a little update about what I’ve been up to these past few weeks.

Two weeks ago I had a very impromptu trip to Nürnberg in order to film and record the pianist Uta Walther playing in her living room.  It was a project brought to life through the Archiv Frau und Musik who were creating a celebratory webpage for Prof. Dr. Eva Rieger’s 80th birthday.

We filmed two pieces (both composed by Vivienne Olive):

And we also filmed a short interview:

Recently, the Archiv Frau und Musik also had their Chorfachtage, where I cut together a bunch of videos, ended up filming a choir rehearsal of the Munich International Choral Society and created this little teaser:

Then, as a little fun aside, I cut together a light-hearted video for a amateur dance group in Boston, Massachusetts (which means I now know how to spell Massachusetts without looking it up).

I am also currently working on a project with Birgit Kiupel (Historian, Cartoonist, Author) that I should be able to share fairly soon. It involves my music and her drawings.

And last, but certainly not least, I have also started recording my own music again (after taking a break) and will be sharing that as soon as I have it in a shareable format (and as soon as I get my computer fixed).

I hope everyone is able to stay safe and well and I send much love!
